PRAYER OF THE WEEK
Let’s pray for our brothers and sisters throughout the world who are suffering extreme persecution because of their faith in Jesus. Pray for an end to the violence and suffering. Pray that persecutors would be radically saved by Jesus. Pray for the Lord to supernaturally sustain and rescue his beloved people. And pray that we would remember to pray for them.

Intro to Biblical Counseling
Our Rooted in Grace Biblical Counseling Team is hosting a two-part “Intro to Biblical Counseling” course 8:30–11:30AM on Saturday, August 15 and a second date TBD (we’ll find a date that works for as many as possible of the August 15 attendees). Our desire is to have every member of GCC participate in this course as we seem to become a church that is “competent to counsel.” Leaders of Life Groups and ministry teams are particularly encouraged to attend. Starting September 2 we are offering a free 10-week course where anyone with questions can hear what Christians believe and share dinner and conversation around the table. FAMILY ROOM & NURSING MOTHERS ROOM
The Family Room and Nursing Mothers Room are available throughout the service for anyone who feels the need to step out of the service with a baby or young child. The Family Room has space for children to play and a livestream so parents can still watch/listen to the service. The Nursing Mothers Room is a comfortable and private room for mothers and infants; audio of the service feeds into the room. Please ask a member of the welcome team if you’d like to be directed to one of these rooms.
