MESSAGE
This Sunday Pete continues our series through Psalm 22 with a sermon from verses 6–11 ("The Lord of the Worms").

PRAYER

CHURCH-WIDE SUNDAY MORNING PRAYER MEETING
9-9:45AM in the Prayer Room (Rm 111).

PRAYER OF THE WEEK
Let's pray for all of our students as they begin a new academic year. Pray that they would experience and express gratitude for God-given abilities to learn and grow. Pray for parents and teachers who desire above all to help students to know and love Jesus. Pray that each student would pursue all that they do—including schoolwork—to the glory of God.

PRAYER TEAM
Prayer is a vital ministry in our church; if you’d like to join the Prayer Team or submit a prayer request (or both!) please email prayer@gccdenver.org.

AUGUST Evangelism Encouragement

From Michael Robble...

Who is/are the unbeliever(s) that you're praying for, that you're desiring to share the Gospel with? Since all believers in Christ are ambassadors for Christ (2 Corinthians 5:20), let’s plan this month for focused prayer and quality time with someone who does not know Jesus. Build friendships, extend care, and be ready to share the eternally life-changing truth of the Gospel. We've been given the great privilege of declaring the good news of Jesus to those who so desperately need Him. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, the Lord desires to use each of us to proclaim His name!

And remember: The Bridge Course starts September 2nd. Invite someone to Bridge so they can hear the Gospel!

If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, please join Living as a Follower of Jesus, a self-paced course with monthly Q&A meetings.

If you'd like to participate in the course, please sign up with this link for a short info meeting at noon next Sunday, August 30, in Room 134. Hope to see you there!
