PRAYER

CHURCH-WIDE SUNDAY MORNING PRAYER MEETING
9-9:45AM in the Prayer Room (Rm 111).

PRAYER OF THE WEEK
Let’s pray for everyone in our congregation who is struggling with doubt or fear. Pray that the Lord would reveal himself to each individual as the Almighty God, who will never leave or forsake them, who is the only true Savior, fortress, and deliverer. Pray that the Gospel of Jesus Christ will become increasingly precious to them and that the Cross would continually remind them of God’s unconditional and everlasting love for them.

PRAYER TEAM
Prayer is a vital ministry in our church; if you’d like to join the Prayer Team or submit a prayer request (or both!) please email prayer@gccdenver.org.

October Evangelism Encouragement

From Michael Robble...

As we’ve heard in our 2 Timothy series, Paul exhorted Timothy to “not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord, nor of me his prisoner, but share in suffering for the gospel by the power of God” (2 Timothy 1:8). This month, let’s be asking the Lord to help us, by the power of the Holy Spirit, to not be ashamed to tell others about the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. Filled with the Spirit, let’s seek to treasure the Gospel more; out of hearts full of love for Jesus, let’s tell others about Him. If you feel you need help or encouragement, please reach out to me.

Family Room & Nursing Mothers Room
The Family Room and Nursing Mothers Room are available throughout the service for anyone who needs to step out of the service with a baby or young child. The Family Room has space for children to play and a livestream so parents can still watch/listen to the service. The Nursing Mothers Room is a comfortable and private room for mothers and infants; audio of the service feeds into the room. Please ask a member of the welcome team if you’d like to be directed to one of these rooms.

Family Meeting
Our autumn family meeting is scheduled for Sunday, October 25, 6PM. We typically have a couple of church-wide family meetings every year, which provide an opportunity to communicate the ‘state of the church’ to the members of GCC and to provide necessary and helpful updates on various ministries, initiatives, concerns, etc. These meetings are open to everyone who has become a member of GCC and to those currently participating in the Exploring Grace class. If you’re a member or in the Exploring Grace class, please prioritize this meeting! (And because meetings are more fun with food, please bring a snack to share.)
Lost & Found
We’re emptying the Lost & Found at the end of October, so please check if there’s a chance you left something behind at the church building in the last several months.
