MESSAGE
This Sunday Michael Robble continues our series through 2 Timothy—"Treasure. Live. Proclaim."— with a sermon from 2 Timothy 1:8–18 ("Not Ashamed of the Gospel").

Mark 2:15–17 tells about Jesus eating with sinners and tax collectors. His behavior enraged the scribes and Pharisees, and Jesus responded by saying, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.” As the redeemed people of God, we have the only message—the Gospel—that can make sin-sick sinners well. This month, let’s follow Jesus’ example and eat with (or have coffee with) someone who is lost. Be a friend to someone who doesn’t know Jesus, and tell them how Jesus died and rose again to rescue us.

Also, please be praying for the Bridge Course, which is every Wednesday evening for the next two months. Pray souls will be saved for God’s glory.

Family Room & Nursing Mothers Room
The Family Room and Nursing Mothers Room are available throughout the service for anyone who needs to step out of the service with a baby or young child. The Family Room has space for children to play and a livestream so parents can still watch/listen to the service. The Nursing Mothers Room is a comfortable and private room for mothers and infants; audio of the service feeds into the room. Please ask a member of the welcome team if you’d like to be directed to one of these rooms.

Life Groups
Life Groups meet most 1st and 3rd Wednesdays and Thursdays. You can use this form to sign up for a group or ask for more info.

Intro to Biblical Counseling, Session 2
Our Rooted in Grace Biblical Counseling Team is hosting a two-part “Intro to Biblical Counseling” course! Session 2 is 8:30–11:30AM next Saturday, October 3. Our desire is to have every member of GCC participate in this course as we seek to become a church that is “competent to counsel.” Leaders of Life Groups and ministry teams are particularly encouraged to attend. Family Meeting
Our autumn family meeting is scheduled for Sunday, October 25, 6PM. We typically have a couple of church-wide family meetings every year, which provide an opportunity to communicate the ‘state of the church’ to the members of GCC and to provide necessary and helpful updates on various ministries, initiatives, concerns, etc. These meetings are open to everyone who has become a member of GCC and to those currently participating in the Exploring Grace class. If you’re a member or in the Exploring Grace class, please prioritize this meeting! (And because meetings are more fun with food, please bring a snack to share.)
