PRAYER

CHURCH-WIDE SUNDAY MORNING PRAYER MEETING
9-9:45AM in the Prayer Room (Rm 111).

PRAYER OF THE WEEK
Let's pray for victims of the horrific flooding in Nepal and Tibet. Pray for the recovery efforts and for believers in those two nations to be enabled to be witnesses to the hope of the Gospel. Pray for the many people in our sister churches who have traveled to Nepal over the last two decades and have developed many friends in churches in that area. Pray that God would bring comfort and wisdom for future mission/ministry trips.

PRAYER TEAM
Prayer is a vital ministry in our church; if you’d like to join the Prayer Team or submit a prayer request (or both!) please email prayer@gccdenver.org.

September Evangelism Encouragement

From Michael Robble...

Mark 2:15–17 tells about Jesus eating with sinners and tax collectors. His behavior enraged the scribes and Pharisees, and Jesus responded by saying, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.” As the redeemed people of God, we have the only message—the Gospel—that can make sin-sick sinners well. This month, let’s follow Jesus’ example and eat with (or have coffee with) someone who is lost. Be a friend to someone who doesn’t know Jesus, and tell them how Jesus died and rose again to rescue us.

Also, please be praying for the Bridge Course, which is every Wednesday evening for the next two months. Pray souls will be saved for God’s glory.
